What is a nick name?

I find some of the things that the students call themselves funny.
Who is Bread Bread, Chocolate, Cherry and Monkey? They are collectively students from my Form B Class... and maybe you would have a funny nickname too if you had this kind of imagination.

FOOD MACAU STYLE

What is a Queen's Mother Pearl and what is it doing only in Taipa? The latter is an island that sits very close to the Pearl Delta and although that means nothing to those who are not surrounded by water the island of Taipa has the only candy that is named after a pearl and it comes from China. It is not sweet , but sticky and black and like gum it comes in 24 pack. What else is good to eat according to the students, some of them like the street vendor food. So here is a tour of a few of the local delicacies.

INTRODUCTION LETTER

Students were asked to write an introduction letter. The question they were asked was "What is your personal object and what is outstanding/special about it?" Some students have decided to bring their favorite music, video, bookmark, key chain and mobile phone!! The most interesting part of the class was learning about the student's interests, likes and dislikes. We are still wanting to find another culture/country to continue this culture exchange and find out abouteach other in the process.

Class A and B

Here is my Class's beginning activity. It started in the classroom of about 28 people and 26 more from another class. For the next few English classes we learned about blogs, and then it more or less became a school/community culture project. It was raining so no pictures that first day. Dec. 8 was a public holiday and I managed to get some interested people to bring in a personal object to photoblog about.
以下讓我介紹第一個在課室進行的活動。我將兩班共54位學生(一班有28位學生，另一班有26位學生)集合在一起上課。在隨後的幾堂課上，學生一同學習有關網誌的東西。我期望他們可以將所學的東西匯集成為一個學校甚或社區的文化研究專題。第一天因為下雨，故沒有拍照，12月8日又碰巧是公眾假期，最後幸虧若干熱心學生把個人物件帶回學校，我拍了照片跟著放到網誌上。
